A Functional Home is Now on Etsy!!

I've just posted my first listings on Etsy for my 8 point star tree skirts! I'm so excited to be offering these beauties for sale. I've been working on this design for a while now and I'm finally ready to open up shop! There aren't any skirts out there like these with the unique 8 point star design.

I've been making extra large tree skirts for about 25 years now. I started with rounds and developed a star pattern that I have grown to love. I still use my first star design under my own tree, and as you can see, it's still visible even with loads of presents. This skirt was meant to be a prototype so I was experimenting with trim and didn't order enough. Well, I never got around to actually finishing it out but I loved the design so much that I use it anyway (it gives it added charm). I will most likely use this skirt again this year, so I will take some actually presentable photos. I do apologize for the haphazard layout of the points in this pic!

There are three skirts posted now, but there are more to come. The designs vary from lace brocade to a cotton retro stripe to silver foil on flannel. I have one in process now with a matching table topper that I'm hoping to post by the weekend. I'd also love to take custom orders so if anyone has something specific, I'll be attempting that as well.
